In January 2014, the Mackay family, local to Tongue Village, bought Tongue Youth Hostel from the SYHA. We have renamed the business "Kyle of Tongue Hostel & Campsite" and we have successfully continued to run the building as a Hostel whilst completing the development of the Hostel's surrounding land into a high quality campsite and caravan park.

We look forward to seeing you year after year where you can continue to monitor our business progress. A variety of accommodation is on offer at Kyle of Tongue Hostel which offers a variety of comfortable private rooms. Our Hostel is also available for exclusive use with our Rent-A-Hostel deal, please contact us for further details!

Excellent facilities for our Hostel guests Kyle of Tongue Hostel has a comfortable and spacious communal lounge/dining room, our newly developed cafe/bar which sells wonderful home cooked meals, a laundry and drying room and Wifi. We also have excellent secure bike storage and a well stocked shop which our guests find very convenient.
